Pinoy French Lesson

I took French from seventh thru twelfth grade in Hogan High School. I took a couple of semesters of French in college too.  I should be fluent, but as the saying goes, "Use it or lose it."

There was no French club in tenth grade and our French teacher left at the end of the year.

When Madame Yvonne Steffen came in at the start of 11th grade, we re-established the French Club.  Everyone pointed to me to be the president.  Silly me, I turned it down.

I did become the French Club president for senior year.  But once I got my early acceptance to UC Davis for Aeronautical Engineering in December before Christmas vacation, I resigned my position!  I just wanted to hang out with my boys during lunch.

C'est la vie!
