Philippine International Motor Show: PIMS, my ride
Car shows cater to a wide range of people. They exhibit vehicles (with 2, 4, 6 and more wheels), parts, accessories, provide information, test drives and entertainment to the public. I went to the 6 th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) at the World Trade Center, Manila and had a blast looking at the different vehicle models ( and the models, too )! One particular vehicle that piqued my interest is a 1974Beetle 1303 S (named Sabel sa Beetle ) owned by internationally-acclaimed glass sculptor Ramon Orlina . What’s so special about this car isn’t found under the hood. Outside is an artwork by National Artist BenCab while inside is a glass sculpture made by the owner himself!
