Belated Happy Birthday Lolo Emiliano Perseveranda! Vallejo, CA. Flashback to February 1992 after Lolo Marciano passed away. All eight Perseveranda siblings were present at Tito Maning's house in Wellfleet. Tito Ed's four boys would be able to migrate two years down the road. Tito Nelson and family flew up from Down Under. Tito Sonny, Tita Neneng and Twinkle made it from Marikina.  I tore my ACL during Friday basketball before Palm Sunday 1991 (March 24 per the internet) so it was almost the one-year anniversary when I tore my knee. Scanned and quick edit in Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoscape.

Flashback to Rosanne's 3rd Bday Party This should be the first time I introduced Rowen to the family. I love Lolo's smile here. Each time I would get back from a trip to Chicago, he would ask me, "Where's my great-grandson?" LOL. Sorry I didn't come through Lolo. I'm pretty sure this is July 25, 1987, a Saturday. Lola Rosita was still living in Chicago with my family. 🙏🏽❤️🕊 Naval Legends: USS Midway. The first U.S. aircraft carrier too big to transit the Panama Canal The idea to build a marvel like that was suggested by the US Navy’s Bureau of Ships as far back as in 1940. For American admirals , this was a dream: a carrier that would be robust as a battleship and have at least 120 aircraft on board.
