Kaiser Fasting Labs - February5

Image
I parked at the top of the parking garage so I can get max steps in. Passed by Costco to buy onions (and to get more steps in). Grabbed more tomatoes. Cooked organic mushrooms for my omelette.

HBD Larry! Flashback to July 16, 2004 when you visited Tess in her Kaiser Hospital room and newly born Chesca during your work. Your goddaughter Nica couldn't stand still for a photo. ALOHA!

I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our polit...

Kaiser Hospital Martinez Appointment

Image
Late for my 2 PM Kaiser Martinez Appointment Martinez, CA. January 29, 2024. After having left Lorina and Glenn at Kimono Japanese Restaurant in Benicia, I proceeded to Martinez. As I was about to exit I-680, I realized I had forgotten my CPAP machine at home! So I exited, turned around, and drove back home. Epic fail. I was parked at the main structure at 2:35 PM.  I was checked in, and seated in the lobby by 2:40 PM. Thank you so much to the Respiratory Department in Martinez for accomodating me. Done with my appointment and taking selfies at 3:15 PM to learn more about Samsung S23 Ultra. Join me and blog with Pinoybuilt. I joined Facebook in September 2007, so I have tons of photos I haven't posted yet. I will be posting to this blog/website going forward. I'd rather make money for Pinoybuilt instead of Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg. 😉 Please visit often, and leave a comment. Date with the Doctor

Image
Vallejo, CA. January 2, 2024. Started the year off by seeing my doctor this morning. Thanks to my loving sister for forcing me to see the good doctor by making my appointment. 😂🙏🏽 Bad news, good news.  The bad news: I have to cut my coffee intake at noon. Coffee does not hurt me, per the good doctor. I just need to have my last cup at noon to alleviate my sleep problem. Good news: Without having done labs yet, I should be good with increased sleep and exercise. Shoot for 30 minutes of exercise at least five times a week. The threshold of 150 minutes of exercise per week does wonders for the health. Consider it done. 💪🏽 J.F. Perseveranda | pinoybuilt.com

Tess & Baby Nica go to her Kaiser appointment

Image
Baby Nica had an appointment at Kaiser, likely a 4-month wellness check. I took photos of Tess on our "lawn" at Toni Ct.
