Mouthwash & High Blood Pressure

Image
My sister shared a Facebook video "Stop Using Mouthwash" by Dr. Jeremy London I found his YouTube channel and the video itself.   Ingredients in your mouthwash could be raising your blood pressure. Many types of mouthwash contain ingredients that can damage your mouth bacteria and lead to high blood pressure. Avoid these ingredients and your good mouth bacteria will help keep your blood pressure lower! - Ken D Berry MD

My Primary Doctor said I had a Heart Attack

Image
But my new cardiologist said I did not. He recommended I have an Echocardiogram (ultrasound of heart). There you go Joy. When I asked about the stress test, he thought it would only be 70% accurate since I have a few conditions. He was concerned about my high blood pressure and my cholesterol. Dr. Rhim said my triglycerides and cholesterol were under control in early 2020, but have shot up. When he asked me about it, I said my diet had gone south the past few years. He said if I don't address these things, the likelihood of me having a heart attack in the next 5 to 10 years is 20-30%. Dr. Noces, my primary doctor, showed me three days ago on his computer monitor the number 27.4% that I likely will have a heart attack in "the next couple of  years." Dr. Rhim suggested I take Omega-3 supplements, but definitely do daily exercises/walks in addition to weights. He said I do not have to worry about "inferior ischemia" on my EKG. Just diet and exercise. Which I alread...

Date with the Doctor

Image
Vallejo, CA. January 2, 2024. Started the year off by seeing my doctor this morning. Thanks to my loving sister for forcing me to see the good doctor by making my appointment. 😂🙏🏽 Bad news, good news.  The bad news: I have to cut my coffee intake at noon. Coffee does not hurt me, per the good doctor. I just need to have my last cup at noon to alleviate my sleep problem. Good news: Without having done labs yet, I should be good with increased sleep and exercise. Shoot for 30 minutes of exercise at least five times a week. The threshold of 150 minutes of exercise per week does wonders for the health. Consider it done. 💪🏽 J.F. Perseveranda | pinoybuilt.com
