'Kamala Harris Fundraising Going Toward Recount'

Election 2024 The Harris Victory Fund—a joint fundraising committee that allocates contributions to her campaign, the Democratic National Committee and to state Democratic committees—quietly updated the information on its donations page on Wednesday morning. The donation page now says that a portion of money donated to the fund will be allocated to “Harris for President’s Recount Account,” signaling that Kamala Harris’s team is gearing up to watch the count of votes in contested states closely. Celebrating the Contributions of Filipinos in Hawaii

October is Filipino American (FilAm) History Month. FilAm History Month honors the history, heritage, pursuits, positive contributions, and legacies of Filipinos in the United States. To welcome FilAm History Month and in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Philippines-US diplomatic relations, the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu is pleased to share with you a video presentation which highlights the rich history of Filipinos in Hawaii, as well as their positive contributions to the State and how the Consulate has stood witness to the growth and growing influence of Filipinos and Filipino Americans in Hawaii.
