Leaving from San Francisco isn't just a departure — it's a statement. This group, primarily from the Hogan High School Class of 1985, represents the enduring bonds formed in Vallejo's 707. From high school hallways to the open sea, the Spartan spirit remains unbroken.

The Bay Area is home to an estimated 350,000+ Filipino Americans, with Daly City often called the "Fil-Am capital of the U.S." When Hogan Spartans sail from SF, they're departing from the heart of the diaspora.

★ Did You Know? — The Fil-Am Connection

Vallejo, California has one of the highest concentrations of Filipino Americans in the United States — an estimated 20–25% of the city's population is of Filipino descent. Many of Vallejo's Filipino families trace their Bay Area roots to the Mare Island Naval Shipyard, which drew Filipino workers and Navy veterans beginning in the early 1900s. Hogan High School has been at the center of that community for generations — and its Class of '85 carries that legacy forward, one cruise at a time.
