Reunion: Salie Pangelinan & Ron Stainer.

Who remembers Salie Pangelinan? She's Salie Winkelmann now. Happily married with three adult sons, and two grandkids. How awesome!  I wanted to invite all of our class since Salie moved to St. Louis, Missouri right after high school graduation. But she said she didn't think folks would remember her, as she would also have trouble remembering folks. Thanks for meeting up with Ron and me, Salie. By the way, Salie and I were neighbors at Toni Ct from seventh grade until October of ninth grade when we moved to another house, my parents' current house. It was great catching up with you and Ron. Congratulations Patrick Mahomes & KC Chiefs on winning Super BowlLVII!

Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback today. He's now 2-for-2. How can they compare #15 to Brady when #12 lost 3 in the #SuperBowl? More apt comparison is to #JoeMontana who was 4-for-4. 🐐  Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were unstoppable in the second half and overcame a ten-point deficit at the half. The "vaunted" Philadelphia Eagles Defense was unable to stop Mahomes and the Chiefs on every second-half possession. Mahomes on a bad ankle even outran the Pro Bowler Haason Reddick on a 26-yard scramble. I feel for Jalen Hurts, qb of the Eagles. Hurst rushed for 3 TDs and passed for one TD. He was great enough to be the MVP of the game, but he did have a crucial mistake. He fumbled the ball which was returned for a tying touchdown. But Hurts should be back, and should get paid with a new contract extension. Drove around Jumeirah to take photos of Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, the beaches, a mosque, etc. Beautiful neighborhood. Spread out between three areas — Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, and Jumeirah 3 — there’s plenty to explore aside from the open beaches. Dine at the fashionable cafes and boutiques tucked inside luxurious villas, or visit one of Dubai’s culturally important landmarks, the famous Jumeirah Mosque. Jian, Keo & Antonio were teammates in a youth basketball league in Benicia. Then the kids were treated to breakfast at First St Cafe (since closed) by their Papa.
