✈️ Around 10 PM, my son Jian drove Chesca and me to SFO to catch our redeye flight to Chicago.

We were heading to celebrate my niece’s high school graduation—a joyful family milestone. 🎓

There’s something timeless about those airport send-offs: headlights on the freeway, the hum of goodbye hugs, and the quiet strength of family ties.
