I consider Marikina my hometown since I lived there from when I was three to just before my tenth birthday (when my sister, grandmother and I migrated to the USA to join my parents). Marikina has always beeen known as the "Shoe Capital of the Philippines."
Act One presents "The Shoemaker," a short film directed by Sheron Dayoc about a Marikina shoemaker.
