SF Giants beats LA Dodgers, wins WildCard; Don't stop beliEVEN!

The San Francisco Giants swept the Los Angeles Dodgers and have reached the postseason for the fourth time in manager Bruce Bochy's tenure, all the even years since 2010.

Bay Area fans all know what happens in even years -- the SF Giants win the World Series (2010, 2012, 2014)!

The SF Giants travel to Queens for Wednesday's Wild Card Game. Madison Bumgarner, who threw the final pitch of the 2014 postseason, is expected to throw the first of 2016 in Citi Field in New York. The Mets will start Noah Syndergaard, who held the Giants to two hits in eight shutout innings at AT&T Park on Aug. 21. In their other two meetings, both at Citi Field, the Giants beat him.

The winner opens a Division Series with my hometown team Chicago Cubs on Friday night.

Bring on the New York Mets!
