Benicia High School locked down due to shooting threat

Benicia Police Department took a student away in handcuffs. The kids supposedly had a gun and a list of people to shoot.

BHS was on lockdown today.

My eldest called me at 11 AM to let me know that their school was on lockdown and that a kid was taken away. The kid, a freshman, supposedly had a gun and a list of people to shoot. She and her friends, and probably most of BHS students, took to Twitter to get the latest news.

Below is what I found.

Ofcrs on scene investigating threat at BHS. Ofcrs have secured the school. Precautionary lockdown. Will update with further.

Lockdown at BMS and Mary Farmar has been lifted. Only BHS remains on lockdown. Officers on scene investigating. Updates to follow.
