Philippines' Eric Cray qualified for 400m hurdles semi-finals in the Rio Olympics.
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil: Philippines' Eric Cray ran a 49.05s in the 400m hurdles to qualify for the semifinals.

Cray’s time was good for third place in his heat, only being bested by Ireland’s Thomas Barr’s 48.93s and Japan’s Keisuke Nozawa’s 48.62s finishes.
