Happy Easter! 🐰🏀

Image
Chesca and I spent Easter at my sister's house. Chesca came from college to care for her mama for the day. She went back before the Golden State Warriors playoff game started in Houston. I hadn't really watched much NBA basketball this year (although I recorded the Warriors games if it weren't on TNT via Fubo). But it's playoff time so I watched from the jump until the buzzer. Tonight, Jimmy Butler showed why he was my favorite NBA player not on the Warriors prior to this year's trade. He's just a winner; he does everything that's needed to help the team win the game. Butler is exactly what Steph and Draymond needed. They shut down Houston, and came through to close the game. GSW leads 1-0! On the way home, Columbus Pkwy (my usual route) was blocked off due to a big accident. I had to turn around and take the freeway home. Good thing I stayed as long as I did at my sister's house. Let's go Warriors! Steph Curry & Jimmy Butler DOMINATED With 56 PT...

Flashback: Marikina childhood friend Ray Abenojar was in the country. Perfect timing. April 13, 2016. Benicia, CA. We had a Dubnation party to watch the Golden State Warriors try to be the first NBA team to 73 wins -- and they did.  The Golden State Warriors achieved a record-breaking 73 wins in the 2015-16 NBA regular season. This record, previously held by the Chicago Bulls with 72 wins in 1995-96, was a historic achievement for the Warriors. Pistons at Golden State Warriors Highlights

Image
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Detroit Pistons, 113-109. Stephen Curry recorded 26 points (14 in the 4th quarter), 6 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Warriors, with Klay Thompson adding 19 points and 4 assists in the victory. Cade Cunningham tallied 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists for the Pistons. The Warriors improve to 17-18 in the regular season, while the Pistons fall to 3-32. I record all Warriors games on my FUBO account, but I usually can't find the time to watch. So the next best thing is watching these highlights here. #FTTB Faithful To The Bay 14 of Steph's 26 points last night were in the fourth quarter. 😎 — Golden State Warriors (@warriors) January 6, 2024 3️⃣0️⃣ came in clutch in the fourth Player of the Game, powered by @googlecloud pic.twitter.com/voGwbkAA8e — Golden State Warriors (@warriors) January 6, 2024 Please click to follow our website/blog PINOYBUILT.com

Reyes-Altamirano: Concord to Rancho Cordova - April 28

Image
Another Reyes-Altamirano Reunion I picked up cousin Redentor Gabinete with Auntie Manye, and we drove to Rancho Cordova. Unfortunately, my NBA team, the Golden State Warriors, were playing the Sacramento Kings in their playoff matchup. Redentor , you mentioned the North Concord / Martinez BART station after the Concord station. Per Google Maps, the Martinez station is 0.6 miles shorter drive from my house. Plus the station is closer to Highway 4, than the Concord station is to Hwy 4 or 680. So it's faster to get in and out. Next time, let's do the North Concord / Martinez BART station. We made to Reyes-Altamirano cousin Chris Lalucis' house in time for the fourth quarter of the Warriors-Kings game! I had to listen to the game on the radio while Redentor and Auntie Manye caught up on family things. Quick selfie before we went into the house. Sunset in Rancho Cordova. Unfortunately, the Sacramento Kings had the game in control in the fourth quarter. The Kings were u...

COVID Concerns Following Major Celebrations in San Francisco

Image
Some people are concerned COVID-19 positivity rates will rise following celebrations such as the Warriors parade and San Francisco Pride Parade. Experts weigh in and provide recommendations as more outdoor events are set to happen over the summer. Sharon Katsuda reports. The number of coronavirus cases reported in California is on the brink of crossing 10 million. A milestone that probably undercounts the total significantly yet still carries an increasing sense of inevitability. https://t.co/HJrP1Qeea9 pic.twitter.com/Oa8ESxRH1z — Los Angeles Times (@latimes) June 28, 2022

Warriors 2022 NBA Draft Targets To Take At Pick 28: Christian Braun & Kai Sotto

Warriors Draft Targets: Christian Braun, G, Kansas  EJ Liddell, F, Ohio State  Walker Kessler, C, Auburn  Patrick Baldwin Jr. G, Milwaukee  Kai Sotto, C, Philippines Aye @warriors , since the bay has a lot of filipinos and ya'll lack size and are struggling with the tax. Is there any chance ya'll drafting Kai Sotto?
