Dubai Arrival — August 23, 2021, Dubai, United Arab Emirates First selfie in Dubai International Airport.  After a 16-hour Emirates flight from San Francisco to Dubai, I finally set foot in the UAE tonight. The moment I stepped out of DXB airport, the warm desert air hit me — and just like that, I was wide awake. This marks the beginning of my August/September 2021 adventure in Dubai, a journey I’ve been looking forward to for months. From the glittering skyline to the endless hospitality, Dubai feels both futuristic and deeply rooted in tradition. Tonight is just the first glimpse of what promises to be an unforgettable chapter.
