Cebu-born Kim Adis stars in the hit TV series “Get Even”

Kim Adis as Kitty Wei, a girl who feels pressured to overachieve due to her parents' high expectations. I'll have to watch this with my teen daughters. In what is considered a rare role for Filipinos in Hollywood, Kim Adis is a trailblazer in the young adult movies scene in the United Kingdom. On Showbiz Tonight, Yong Chavez has this exclusive interview with the Filipina actress about her hit TV series on BBC, that is now streaming on Netflix. Get Even  is a British  teen   thriller  series that premiered on  BBC iPlayer  on 14 February 2020. The series was adapted by Holly Phillips from the book series  Don't Get Mad  by Gretchen McNeil, and focuses on a group of schoolgirls who form a group to expose bullies at their school. [4]  In August 2020, the series was acquired by  Netflix  and distributed internationally.
